NEW YORK – On Thursday students from Mrs. Cerros’s Video and Theatre Production classes departed from La Salle at 6:45am by bus to tour the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City. The classes participated in a scavenger hunt throughout the museum locating iconic and historic cameras, set models, costumes, props and more. Afterwards everyone walked down the street to Napoli, a local pizzeria that could barely fit the party, but they were extremely accommodating nonetheless. After the trip the students will reflect on their experience in the form of an essay.
The museum has over 1,400 artifacts on display and a collection of over 130,000 artifacts
