This week, the Coronavirus has become a serious issue. It is spreading at a rapid pace, even reaching other countries, such as the U.S., Taiwan, and Australia. It has already surpassed the danger associated with the SARs virus back in 2003. There have been over 7000 cases of the Coronavirus, which surpasses the number of SARs virus cases, but the mortality rate is much lower with the Coronavirus with somewhere near 200 deaths in total. It’s important to remember that it has not been issued to be an epidemic yet by the World Health Organization. If it does become an epidemic it is important to remember that you can’t panic and keep in mind that most of the cases in the U.S. were found in people travelling abroad.
