This week is one of four very important weeks. This whole month is dedicated to black history but this week La Salle is celebrating in multiple ways. Black History Month is the annual celebration of the imperative impact that African Americans had on society as well as being thankful for everything they have given not just America but the whole world. Mrs. Cerros is showing movies throughout the week after school in the WLSA room that showcase the talent of black producers such as Spike Lee. It’s important to remember during this month that thousands of African American’s were persecuted here in America. It should never be forgotten since we can still learn from our mistakes and work towards a better world by looking back on what occurred in the past.
