Loud music.
Sparkly dresses.
Voices screaming at the top of their lungs.
All fundamental elements of a high school dance.
For many, attending a high school dance marks the beginning of the next four years of one’s life. It’s memorable and exciting. Sadly, because of COVID restrictions last year, planning a dance was not possible for La Salle. The Class of 2020 missed their Prom Night and the Class of 2024 missed their first-ever high school dance.
This year, however, things are different. This coming Friday, the first of April, is the Freshman/Sophomore Semi Formal. The dance will be taking place from 7 pm to 10:30 pm at the Ramada Hotel in Seekonk, Massachusetts. The dance will be an opportunity for students to mingle with classmates and dance with friends. One can surely feel the excitement and anticipation building throughout the school. It will definitely be an unforgettable night!
