(Q) Where did you grow up?
- I grew up in Barrington, RI
(Q) How or why did you become a teacher?
- I became a teacher because I was interested in doing campus ministry. When I started to teach as part of my ministry role I fell in love with the process. I also enjoy accompanying students on their faith journey and the classroom gives space for that experience.
(Q) How did you come to La Salle?
- Well I am a graduate from 2005, so once my wife and I moved from north of Boston to south of the city, I was waiting for an opportunity to return here as a teacher.
(Q) What is your philosophy of education?
- My philosophy of education is that we are all life long learners and each one of us has something unique to bring to the classroom. There is a mutuality of relationships between the students and the teacher. On some days, I learn just as much from my students as they learn from me.
(Q) What is a fun fact about you?
- I grew up with a milkman delivering milk from Munroe Dairy. I ride a motorcycle.
(Q) What are your interests or hobbies outside of school?
- I enjoy playing guitar, being active outdoors, going to concerts, and barbequing with friends.
(Q) Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
- I see myself having a few kids in elementary school and supporting my family.
