The summer Olympics have always been a symbol of the unity between nations in the world. The recent coronavirus outbreak has shown us that a global crisis is a way to bring us together, but it has resulted in the postponement of this year’s summer Olympics to next year. As time progresses, the games have grown more innovative and elaborate; this one was supposed to be the largest Olympics yet. With the postponement there will be more time for Japan to show how innovative they can be. While it is sad that the Olympics have been postponed, we should be grateful that something as astounding as this event exists. Remember to stay inside in order to remain as healthy as possible so that time honored traditions like the Olympics can continue.
